Eliana Pisons
Alumna, Intelliwings Internship Program
Eliana attends American University in Washington, DC where she is studying Global International Relations with a focus on Japan and East Asia. She is an alumna of the Sakura Scholars Joint-Degree Program with American University and Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. Through this program, she studied for two years in Kyoto, Japan to immerse herself in the language, culture, and experiences. Eliana has a basic proficiency in Japanese and wants to pursue it as a minor.
Before joining Intelliwings, Eliana was an International Trade Intern for the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC). She has experience with market research and conducting due diligence on companies interested in collaborating with the DOC. She was involved in many trade missions supporting the Trade Specialists during her time. Eliana wants to expand her knowledge in business consulting and is interested in pursuing international law to support organizations doing business abroad.
Following her completion of the Intelliwings Internship Program, Eliana was accepted to the prestigious Mansfield Foundation internship program in Washington DC, where she continues to advance her knowledge of Japan and Indo-Pacific issues while promoting partnerships between the US and Asia.
